Innovation of Erasmus projects

My journey with Erasmus began while I was browsing my Facebook page and I saw an invitation to become a volunteer with location based in Italy ( Lecce). I was excited and curious to know for the project and travel so I was learning project's information and my first thought was I can do this then I immediately start to apply for this opportunity, this new adventure but this time, with Erasmus+ projects under the support of European Commission ( EU) and was looking forward for it.

After a week I was interviewed about my skills, my knowledge and my reasons for being a volunteer in another country for a long term ( EVS) and about the aim of the project, a brief of what are project's need and how can I contribute and bring values to project and worldwide.

When I was approved, I thought the aim's project, which was Stoping the Hate Speech , the Cyberbullying , Sharing Love and kindness and thinking my self of what I really want to do in my life and sharing my experience and contributing for a better world ... it was a perfect moment for me to make this decision. I was ready to do this so immediately I start to prepare myself for travelling, for new culture being abroad in Italy and becoming a member of ''Love in Action '' project. Was absolutely enthusiastic.

In my arrival day in Italy (Lecce) it found me amazed because of its beauty , that vintage architecture and colours will always be in love with Italy.`

First day, first touch with other volunteers, having short conversation of who we are. The next day we met with coordinators to represent ourselves and to know each other, what we do, who we are, to connect and becoming a member of ''Love in Action'' team.. then the following days were dedicated to do all the documents and bureaucracy needed to become e resident of Italy, always with the support of coordinators, they were present to every situation during the project.

The project began and I was more than happy to contribute with my skills, my cultures and knowledge for spreading the kindness and awareness for the team and for the community. Studying and improvising the skills, knowledge with different ways based on non-formal education or activities, such as creative workshops, graphic design, facilitating and working on sharing knowledge through funny and creative activities.

Throughout the time of project we had weekly meeting to share feelings and organising events or planning how and what to do for local community. Some of our successfully achievement were to teach English to local people, to have short sessions with local students, as well as organising workshops in nature with multilingual people, until the lockdown start to began.

In the Erasmus project the benefits are many, non formal education is equally to formal education, in my opinion, non formal education can improve your goals 100% as a professional and as a person, why or how?
